FAQs

What is the difference between a limited edition and an open edition reproduction?

A limited edition is produced in small quantities. My limited editions are available in three material choices and four sizes.  Each material/size option will only be printed 30 times, and never rerun. Limited Editions are stamped and numbered on the back (for example 2 of 30) and a certificate of authenticity is sent separately from my studio.

Open editions and photography are available in unlimited runs.  They are available in 6 different material/frame options and in multiple sizes.

How are your prints made?

I ordered prints in every material from the top fine art printers.  The printer I chose was by far the best quality.  They print using the highest quality materials and archival inks.

How are limited edition prints authenticated?

A certificate of authenticity will be mailed to you separately from the artwork.  This certificate will contain a photo of the artwork, the title of the work and my signature.

How is my order shipped?

All limited and open reproductions and photography are shipped via Fed Ex.  Unframed prints will ship rolled in a tube.  All other material options will be shipped in a custom box from Fed Ex.

Original artwork will be shipped from my studio via Fed Ex. If your order is less than $1000 the package will not require a signature. If your item is over $1000 your package WILL require a signature. Creatify Art Hub is not responsible for any packages that have not been signed for upon delivery. All original artwork is insured.

Products are shipped by each individual manufacturer using the shipping company of their choice.

How do I choose the material for a print?

There are 4 main material choices for prints.  High Definition Metal, Fine Art Print (framed and unframed) Gallery Wrapped Canvas and Acrylic.  While your personal style is the biggest factor in choosing a material there are several other factors to consider when making your choice.

Surface texture: Canvas has a textured surface that can mimic the look of the original painting where as metal and acrylic will give you a sleek, modern finish that is smooth.  Fine art prints and canvas offer a more traditional look while metal and acrylic work well in a contemporary setting.

Durability: All of the materials are archival quality but metal and acrylic prints are a bit more resistant to moisture and are easier to clean then canvas or a fine art print.

Cost: Unframed fine art prints are the least expensive followed by framed prints, canvas and then metal and acrylic. Canvas, metal and acrylic do not require a frame.
